Jennifer Marcus
Jennifer is a world-renowned baton twirling artist from Miami, Florida and has performed in 15 countries. Her mastery of 1, 2, 3, and 4 batons has earned her 33 world championship medals including 16 gold medals. Jennifer also manipulates fire batons, fire fans, LED twirling staffs and other apparatuses bringing an element of danger and excitement into her performances.
Jennifer was a member of Team USA for 19 years and became the winningest athlete of all time for the United States Twirling Association winning 43 Grand National Championships, including 19 three-baton titles where she was undefeated from 1997-2015. Shortly after retiring from competition, she received a call from Cirque Du Soleil offering her a dream job, a twirling act with their big top touring show, Volta. She went on to perform in more than 550 shows and tour through North America until February 2019.
Jennifer's passion is inspiring youth and sharing her sport through teaching and performing. She is the co-director of Synergy Twirling in South Florida and most recently, Zoom! Jennifer is also a member of the Board of Directors for the United States Twirling Association, a member of the Marketing & Communications Committee for the International Federation of Baton Twirling, co-founder of Artisports and is a co-creator of the company Baton Arts.
Jennifer attended Florida State University where she received her undergraduate degree in Public Relations and Journalism and a master's degree in Sports Management. She was the feature twirler for the FSU Marching Chiefs, performed for the NBA's Orlando Magic and has traveled to more than 15 countries performing and teaching clinics. Jennifer is married to her wonderful husband Jonathan, and they have a beautiful little girl named Zoe and a 1 year old named Hudson.
